Western Region Interschool Public Speaking Semi-finals
The Western Region Interschool Public Speaking Semi-finals were held on Monday. Our Champion and Runner Up speakers from Trinity competed against students from St Joseph’s School Boorowa. Once again the standard was exceptionally high making the judges decision an extremely difficult one. Our guest judges were Mrs Rita O’Connor, Mrs Gayle Lander and Mrs Carmel Babos. All judges commented that the quality of the sixteen finalists’ speeches was of an exceptionally high standard. The manner in which the students prepared and delivered their speeches is to be commended. The judges thanked the teachers and parents for the assistance given to all the speakers and for bringing them to this very high level.
