Festival of Literacy
Last week Trinity celebrated Festival of Literacy - what an amazing week we all had!
Tuesday was our workshop day, we all learnt so much from our literacy experts. A huge thank you to Mitch Summerfield, local Wiradjuri storyteller; Robyn Sykes, award winning bush poet; and Amanda Bower, award winning podcast host of Squiz Kids.
It was great having the Murrumburrah Public and Wallendbeen Public students join us.
Thursday was our Community Celebration day, where the students dressed up in their book week costumes. The day was jam packed with lots of literacy fun, including a book week parade, book launch with a local author, poetry, storytelling and to top of the day, the students went on an amazing race around the main street in Harden visiting the local businesses.

Public Speaking
Congratulations to these Champions and Runners-up at the Interschool Public Speaking Championships last week:
