Western Region Athletics Carnival

Congratulations to our Trinity Athletics Team who competed with great sportsmanship, despite the inclement weather, at the Western Region Carnival in Cootamundra last Thursday. Our team of 22 students performed well in both the Track and Field events and recorded some impressive times and distances, with many improving their Trinity Carnival performances.

Special thanks to Kirsty Edwards for conducting two Long Jump sessions allowing Mrs Doolan to supervise, encourage and ensure students were at their events. Many thanks to all the parents who provided photos, transport and support for our talented team of athletes.

Special congratulations to the following students who, through their impressive efforts and performances, earned themselves a place in the Western Region Team to compete at the Archdiocesan Carnival at the AIS in Canberra on Tuesday 23^rd August.

Somer Oldfield – 200m

Aidan Summerfied – Shot Put

Dakota Medley – 100m and 800m

Lana Sumich – 100m
