EXCELLENCE

I was having a discussion at the Community Council last week and mentioned how important it is to me that everyone knows I believe every child deserves excellence. You may ask, where does this statement come from? I have a deep belief that every child is made in the image and likeness of God, every child is born into this world with a purity that is beyond our comprehension. Because God is love, and every chid is made in God's image, they are loved, deserving of love and all it encompasses. Excellence is part of that. There is no child that does not deserve that. At Trinity excellence is for everyone.

DID YOU KNOW AT TRINITY...

specialised programs run every day, across every grade?

the success of high impact teaching strategies at Trinity is well known at the highest level of Catholic Education in Canberra?

reading results have increased since the introduction of the Science of Reading?

all teachers are trained in the same teaching strategies to ensure continuity of learning?

students on the playground can engage in any number of play experiences including BMX bike riding, volleyball, farming, sand pit, basketball, chess, metal detecting and of course looking after Speedy and her friends, our resident chooks?

we are currently creating a Coding Club?

our school musical is more than spectacular?

the grounds provide a fresh, rural outlook where students have plenty of room to play?

we have our own basketball courts, grass netball courts, volley ball nets, long jump pit, soccer field and football grounds.

PARISHONERS

I am delighted to see parishoners reading our newsletter on a Sunday, it warms my heart to know so many people are interested in our beautiful school. Now that Covid restrictions have lifted it is my hope and desire that our parish will feel and become a greater part of life at Trinity Catholic Primary. Currently we are beginning to prepare for 2022 Book Week, 20-26 August. This year the theme is:

I am currently creating a committee of people who would like to be part of organising some community activities for this week. WELCOMING NEW FAMILIES

Welcoming new families into our school is key in ensuring Trinity is able to continue to serve our whole school community with the superior level of attention that we have become known for. Most recently I have been asking members of our community to help support the school by getting the word out about our school.

There are 3 ways that will support us:
1. Share our Facebook page & posts with your network – visit https://www.facebook.com/TCSHarden/

2. Write an honest review on our Facebook page or our Google web listing 

3. Pick up the phone/send a text to any families you know are enrolling a child in school next year or 2024. Let them know that our enrolment period is open and our Open Days are:

I am incredibly proud of our school community and what we are able to offer our students. Our faith and values are woven into the curriculum and school-life. We work hard to develop the social and emotional wellbeing of our students’, as well as their academic abilities. We focus on providing new and exciting opportunities for students to keep them engaged and growing.
