Welcome Back to Term Two
I trust everybody has had a happy and relaxing holiday with family and friends. We warmly welcome all families back for Term Two. It is wonderful to see children return fresh and eager to learn and play with their friends.
Prayer for the Start of Term
Lord God, we praise You for having called us to share in the unfolding of Your Kingdom in the lives of those we serve. May our stewardship of Your gifts be a joyful reflection of Your goodness, which sustains us in all we do. We make this prayer to You in the name of Jesus, the Lord.
Amen
Prime Ministers Light Horse Tribute on ANZAC Day
Our Prime Ministers, Bea Lucas, and Billy Corkhill led a tribute through poetry and prayer at the Light Horse memorial in Murrumburrah on ANZAC Day.
Our Prime Ministers conducted themselves reverently and spoke beautifully through their reflections. Trinity school is very proud of our school leaders.
We thank Bea and Billy for their leadership. Special thanks to the Trinity families who came along to this memorial in support of our leaders and the Light Horse Commemorations.
Trinity Representation at ANZAC Day
Thank you to all students and families who participated in the ANZAC Day march on Monday to remember and honour the fallen at war. Trinity was well represented at the march with our Prime Ministers respectfully acknowledging the occasion with the laying of the wreath at the Cenotaph in Harden and at the Light Horse Memorial in Murrumburrah. Thank you to Mrs Doolan and the Ohana team for supplying the beautiful wreaths for both ANZAC Day ceremonies for Trinity.

ANZAC Day Prayer Service at Trinity
Trinity Staff and 5/6 students led a beautiful prayer service this week to remember and commemorate those who went to war to protect our nation, Australia and provide us with the freedoms we enjoy today. During the prayer service we were encouraged to stop and pray for peace – peace in our world, peace among people in our own country, peace in our families, and peace in our own hearts.

David Enever Concert
Next Thursday Trinity will be treated to an afternoon of music with David Enever. The concert will be held in the school hall from 2-3pm. This concert will be related to our School Vision ‘To Know, To Love, To Serve’.
David was born in Wagga and grew up on a now defunct dairy farm. Having more of an early interest in cricket, David only really got into playing music late, learning guitar after finishing high school, and learning some piano basics through books his grandmother gave him. David graduated from Trinity Senior High School and studied to become a primary school teacher through Charles Sturt University. In 2020, David started to put his musical talent into a new venture – in schools. We are very excited to have David come along to Trinity. I am sure our students will benefit from the experience and will enjoy the day. David has kindly written a song entirely for Trinity to reflect our 2022 theme – To Know You are Loved by God. This song will be revealed at the concert!
