COVID Update

On Wednesday an update to the COVID protocols for Term 2 was sent out via COMPASS. Please make sure you have read this. It is important for all of us to be vigilant as we head into the cooler weather.

As always, if you have symptoms, please do not come into school or send your child/ren to school. Our main priority is to keep everyone in our community safe.

Strike Action

You may have heard that the government schools will be going on strike on Wednesday 4th May. As we (Catholic schools) belong to a different federation we will not be joining our colleagues (yet) but we fully support and appreciate their efforts to make our pay and work conditions reflect the expertise, professionalism, and high standards that we are held to.

Compass

As you are aware, Team Trinity has moved to digitally communicating with our families through the app COMPASS. The benefits of COMPASS are that information is in your hands immediately and you aren’t left rummaging through school bags to find it.  PLEASE take the time to read the information that is pushed out, we do this to make communicating between home and school easier. This is the future of communication for our school and we are moving away from sending home notes/information in paper format.

If you require assistance with navigating the app, please pop into the school and speak with Leanne Davis or Beck Cooper.

Calendar

Another fantastic plus for COMPASS is that our school calendar is now available on COMPASS. Take the time to look over the calendar as the events for the year are going up as we receive them. All of the events for Term 2 are locked in. 

Social Media

We now have an Instagram page as well as our Facebook page. To follow along please look up @tcsmurrumburrah on Instagram. 

Winter Uniform

Our school policy for uniforms is that the first two weeks of Term 2 are called a transition time. Where we can still be wearing our summer uniform whilst we organise our winter uniform. From Week 3 this term EVERYONE will need to be in winter uniform. I have attached a handout to the newsletter and it will be pushed out on COMPASS reminding everyone of the school uniform requirements for winter. Please note that all uniform items can be purchased from the front office (in person) or you can access the items through QKr and we will send them home for you. Please contact Leanne Davis if you require further information/assistance.

Mother’s Day Celebrations

We will be hosting our Mums/Grandmas/Special Friends here at school on Friday 6th May. From 8:30am Mums/Grandmas/Special Friends will be pampered with massages, manicures, and lots of yummy food. More information will be coming out on COMPASS. We look forward to spoiling you all on Friday.
