Public Speaking

Congratulations to Claire and Billy Corkhill who competed in the Western Region Public Speaking Competition last Friday. They both spoke beautifully with the extra challenge of doing it via Zoom. Well done!

K/1/2 Science

This term in Science, K-2 are looking at natural resources and how everything comes from the Earth. This week we experimented by adding natural resources together to make home-made ice-cream! The students loved experiencing science and the results couldn't have been better! It is a great experiment to do at home on a hot day, Mr Niddrie has kindly added the list of ingredients so you can try it out for yourself! Add cream, caster sugar, vanilla (or you could use cocoa powder for chocolate ice-cream) to the small bag, ice and rock salt to the large bag. Then shake consistently for around 10 minutes (but be careful, the bag gets cold very quickly!). Then you get to enjoy some delicious, creamy home-made ice-cream!
