Trinity Team Leader

Can you remember Tuesday 13 July, the first day of Term Three?

Reflecting back, you may think, that was a challenge. Let's look at the term through the eyes of the students, lets look at the significant LEARNING, SPIRITUAL AND SOCIAL EXPEREINCES our students have had. Notice the words in red, thats how our students learn.

We met Mrs Jones because Mrs Davis enjoyed some extra holiday time.

We played  Widajri games.

We made Widjari food.

We raised money for people who are cold.

We found out Mrs Perryman is our real Principal, for a long time.

We wrote with famous authors.

We planted trees for our environment.

We listened to student's speeches.

We welcomed Mr Niddrie back to school.

We celebrated Mary's assumption to heaven.

We heard great stories, including the books celebrated for Book Week.

We made gifts, dressed up and sang a song for our special Father figures.

We experienced the Chicken Dance virtually.

We shared our learning in many different ways.

We found Mrs Cooper, yep, she was lost and we found her.

We watched the staff dance and our families danced even better.

We welcomed one another back to school.

We took part in the Squiz Kids Pilot Program.

Although there have been challenges, the learning has continued and I am grateful to our community. To our parents and carers for their commitment to the unfamiliar waters of home schooling, thank you, to our students for their encouragement and help of one another, thankyou, to our staff for their enthusiasm towards making online learning engaging, thankyou, to the many members of our community who have prayed for us, thankyou.

Have you bought any of the wood burners?

Over the last term and a half Mark and Wendy Sumich have put considerable effort into fundraising for our community. Mark sourced some wood burners for their  property and consequently we have benefitied, thank you Mark. The wood burners have been on sale at school as well as the businesses listed below. A very big thankyou to these businesses and to Wendy and Mark Sumich for co-ordinatong the fundraiser.

What do you need to know about Term Four?

At this stage Term Four will begin on WEDNESDAY 6 OCTOBER. Monday 4 October is a public holiday and Tuesday 5 October is a Pupil Free Day.

At this stage the school will be open on Wednesday 6 October, I am unable to predict what the NSW Government regualtions will be in two weeks. With this in mind, any communication to parents will be through School Zine. Thankyou for the uptake of the information that is going out on School Zine. I encourage you to continue sourcing this as your point of truth regarding communication from Trinity.

All students need to wear their Summer uniform from the beginning of Term Four.

Thank you for your commitment to Team Trinity, please do not hesitate to contact me via email at caz.perryman@cg.catholic.edu.au for any matter that you wish to discuss.

My door is always open for you.
