Just a reminder that the Public Speaking Competition starts on Monday 21^st June at 9.30am in the Yr 5/6 learning space for Years 3-6 students. All parents, carers and special friends are encouraged to attend.

These speeches will be judged by class teachers and 4 students from each year will be selected to present their speech again at the Trinity Public Speaking Championships on Wednesday 23^rd June at 9.30am. All parents, carers and special friends are most welcome to attend.

The 2021 Public Speaking Competition dates are:

Monday 21^st June - Class Speak-Offs for Years 3-6 in the Yr 5/6 learning space at Trinity.

Wednesday 23^rd June - Trinity Public Speaking Championships (4 speakers from each grade) in the school hall at Trinity.

Wednesday 4^th August - Inter-school Public Speaking Comp. (Boorowa & Trinity) at Boorowa (Yrs 3-6)

Wednesday 1^st September - Western Region Public Speaking Championships at Temora (Year 3-6)

Wednesday 15^th September - Archdiocesan Public Speaking Championships at Cooma (Years 3-6) (Northern Region to host)

The 2021 topics are:

Year 3              If I was an animal, I would…      2 minutes with a warning bell at 1min 30

Year 4              Best Invention Ever.                  2 minutes with a warning bell at 1min 30

Year 5              It’s complicated                        3 minutes with a warning bell at 2min 30

Year 6              Stronger together                     3 minutes with a warning bell at 2 min 30
