Sacrament of Confirmation
We continue to keep our Year 5/6 Confirmation candidates in our prayers as they prepare to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation this term. Next Wednesday is the final preparation session at Trinity.
We thank all parents for the wonderful support you have given your children, nurturing their Faith, during this important development in their Faith journey.

We thank you for the gift of mothers. We thank you for the flexibility of our mums, for their tirelessness, their perseverance, and their devotion.
We pray you give each mum strength. Help her to see in every daily task the eternal significance that you place on motherhood.
Lord, on Mother’s Day in which we honour our mums, may we love and cherish the special women who have nurtured us, and who have prayed for our well-being. May our hearts overflow with gratitude to them. We ask that you protect our mother’s and watch over them every day. Amen

Around the Classrooms in RE…….
This week the RE news focus is from the Year 5/6 classroom.
Students have been analysing information from a variety of texts including Scriptural references to the Holy Spirit and the words, symbols and actions of the Rite of Confirmation, to explain the action of the Holy Spirit in the lives of believers.
The students in Year 5/6 have been using the https://bibleatlas.org/ website to explore the Worlds Behind the Text of the readings they are studying. Some of the places the students have explored this week have been:
- Parthia
- Mesopotamia
- Judea
- Cappadocia
- Phrygia
- Egypt
- Rome
- Crete
