Welcome Back to Term Two
I trust everybody has had a happy and relaxing holiday with family and friends. We warmly welcome all families back for Term Two. It is wonderful to see children return fresh and eager to learn and play with their friends.
Sacrament of Confirmation
This term students from Trinity will be preparing for the Sacrament of Confirmation. Please note the following dates for Confirmation.
The Preparation Evenings will be held on Wednesday nights at Trinity school in the Year 5/6 classroom. The first evening was held this week and was well attended. Thanks to parents and children for your commitment to this preparation. As this forms part of the process for the reception of the Sacrament, both students and parent/s are expected to attend.

Whole School ANZAC Day Liturgy
Today Trinity staff and students gathered together as a school community in prayer to commemorate and remember our brave fallen in war. Thank you to Mrs Bear and Year 3/4 students who led this beautiful prayer service.
ANZAC Day March
ANZAC Day is Australia and New Zealand’s national day of remembrance for all soldiers who have fought and died in wars and conflicts around the world. Every year on the 25th April, people in both countries gather for services at dawn, as well as for parades and ceremonies throughout the day.
The ANZACS landed on the Gallipoli Peninsula in Turkey on the 25th April 1915. This day is now known as ANZAC Day. ANZAC stands for Australia and New Zealand Army Corps. The term 'ANZACS' is used to refer to Australian and New Zealand soldiers who fought in World War 1.
This is an incredibly important day in the Australian calendar. We are so very proud of our service men and women and the sacrifices they made for our country.
Teachers are calling for students and families to join us in marching on ANZAC Day this Sunday 25th April (in Winter uniform). We thank all families for your commitment to this important community event.
