Well Done Talia
Talia McKay travelled to Narooma last Monday to compete in the Archdiocesan Swimming Carnival in 12-13 Years 50m Breaststroke. Trinity staff, students and community are proud of Talia’s efforts and commitment to this level of competition.
On Monday I went to Narooma for Archdiocesan swimming. It was a very good experience and helped me to be a better swimmer. My favourite part was representing Trinity and the Western Region. I came 5th overall and got a 2-second PB from my seed time. I’m very proud of how I went and look forward to other carnivals and competitions.

Soccer Trials
Next Friday, 12th March, Jemima Mergard will be travelling to Canberra to compete in the Archdiocesan soccer trials. Trinity staff, students and community wish Jemima all the best on the day and look forward to hearing about this experience upon her return. Well done Jemima!
Cross Country
Trinity Cross Country is soon approaching. This will be held at Trinity school on Friday 19th March. Parents are invited to come along and support our children on the day and join us for a BBQ lunch afterwards. Further details regarding our Cross Country will be in next weeks newsletter. Trinity staff have Cross Country training in their PE lessons as part of the sports program but encourage children to train outside of school hours as well. The Western region Cross Country competition will be held in Boorowa.
School Swimming Sessions
This Monday, 8th March, will be the last day of the school swimming program due to the Harden Pool closed for maintenance on Monday 15th March. The school office will reimburse pre-paid entry and bus fees.
The swimming program this year has involved ‘Swim and Survive’ activities and Life Saving Theory lessons for students. The program has been very successful in developing water awareness and life saving skills which are so very important in life.
