Whole School Mass
Next Thursday Miss Wade and Year 5/6 will lead a whole school mass at Trinity. Parents and friends are welcome to join us at 12:50pm to celebrate this mass. The theme for the mass is ‘Friendship and Forgiveness’.
Father Kevin Barry-Cotter
On Sunday, the Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn lost one of its veteran and most esteemed priests, Father Kevin Barry-Cotter.
May Father Kevin rest from his labours and find peace in the heart of Jesus.
We pray for Father Kevin and entrust him to the mercy of God.
Further details of Father Kevin Barry-Cotter’s legacy can be read in the following article in the Daily Voice.

First Eucharist and Reconciliation
We continue to keep our First Eucharist and Reconciliation candidates in our prayers. These children have been preparing all term to receive these Sacraments. Next Wednesday will be the last preparation session at Trinity Catholic School. The children have prepared with the support of their parents and friends. We thank all staff, students and families committed to the ongoing Faith journey of these children and the parish for keeping our young candidates in your prayers.

The Year of St. Joseph. A Beloved, tender, obedient father…..
Saint Joseph in fact, “concretely expressed his fatherhood” by making an offering of himself in love “a love placed at the service of the Messiah who was growing to maturity in his home,” writes Pope Francis, quoting his predecessor St Paul VI.
And because of his role at “the crossroads between the Old and New Testament,” St Joseph “has always been venerated as a father by the Christian people” (PC, 1). In him, “Jesus saw the tender love of God,” the one that helps us accept our weakness, because “it is through” and despite “our fears, our frailties, and our weakness” that most divine designs are realized. “Only tender love will save us from the snares of the accuser,” emphasizes the Pontiff, and it is by encountering God’s mercy especially in the Sacrament of Reconciliation that we “experience His truth and tenderness,” – because “we know that God’s truth does not condemn us, but instead welcomes, embraces, sustains and forgives us” (2).
Third Sunday of Lent – 7th March
During Week 3 of Lent we meet Olivia. Oliva, 22, could not read, write or count, and her business was losing money. Then she attended Caritas Australia-supported literacy and numeracy classes and set up a home classroom to teach her neighbours. Now her classes, business and family are thriving, and she aims to become a pastor and run for local leadership.
Listen to Olivia’s story here.
