From the Principal
Yesterday, Dr. Phil Pettit from Catholic Education Canberra and Goulburn Head Office came out to lead the Trinity staff through data analysis of our school's results for 2020. Dr. Pettit was thoroughly impressed with the growth that was demonstrated across all year levels from the end of 2019 to the results we have received from the diagnostic testing that has been completed in the past 2 weeks. Staff was given the opportunity to break open the data results and focus on the growth points for 2020 as well as where to next for 2021. We thank Dr. Phil Pettit for analysing our data with us and I must congratulate our staff on the fantastic work they do each and every day to assist our students to be the best they can and to become lifelong learners.
Yesterday we conducted our first 2021 Kinder Orientation day. It was lovely to welcome these preschool children to Trinity, get an insight into 'big' school and meet our wonderful teachers and students. There are two remaining orientations days left, next Thursday November 12 from 9:10am to 12pm and November 20 from 9:10am to 3:10pm.
Trinity had their own take on Melbourne Cup day this year by holding Alpaca Races. On Tuesday the students came dressed the part in their race-day attire and participated in games and races. Thank you to Mrs Lucas in organising such a fun day. Visit our Facebook page for the highlights!

Tomorrow we will be participating in Day for Daniel. This is an annual event in Australia where we raise awareness of child safety, protection and harm prevention. We would like all children to wear something red to school-socks, hair ribbons, tee-shirts, joggers etc.
I wish Year 5/6 a wonderful time on their camp next week, looking forward to hearing all about it!
Wishing you a wonderful weekend.
God Bless and keep well,
Marylou Gorham
