Making Jesus Real
What is our challenge?
It is an initiative of Trinity Catholic School to promote working together to build better relationships and a stronger Catholic future. In our school and community we all have a variety of gifts that come from the same Spirit but make up the one body.
Our mission is to recognise and value the variety of gifts and abilities that we all bring together as a community and to accept and respect each other in the way Jesus showed us to live. We can do this by developing a relationship with the Spirit of Jesus present in our daily lives and by having a positive attitude to people and life. We are encouraged and challenged everyday to live the Gospel Values of kindness, compassion, thoughtfulness, tolerance, understanding, patience and the way we Greet, Treat and Speak to people.
Sacrament of Confirmation
On Wednesday, the children preparing for the Sacrament of Confirmation joined together to participate in their Retreat Day as part of their final preparations for the Sacrament of Confirmation. The children had a wonderful day sharing in prayer and Faith. The children were very fortunate to have the opportunity to meet Sr Kathy from Sacred Heart Parish, Cootamundra, who led some of the retreat workshops and reflections on the day. We thank Sr Kathy, Fr Trenton and Mrs Doolan for dedicating their time to help make the Retreat day so special.

Confirmation Weekend
Over recent weeks, our Year Five and Six students have been dedicating their time to preparing for, and learning about, the Sacrament of Confirmation which most children will receive in our parish this coming weekend.
Like the wind, the Spirit of God is invisible and cannot be seen by us. Although we cannot see the wind, we can feel it and see the effects of the wind. In the same way, we cannot really see the Spirit, but we can feel the effects of the fruits of the Holy Spirit in a person’s life. May the gifts of Wisdom, Understanding, Knowledge, Courage, Right Judgement, Reverence and Wonder & Awe deepen and strengthen in the children as they continue to grow and are drawn closer to God and the Catholic community.
Confirmation mass is on this Sunday the 16th June at St. Anthony’s Church. All families and Parishioners are welcome to join our Year 5 / 6 children for this special Sacramental Mass. Children receiving this special Sacrament are asked to be at the church with their families by 8:30am.
