Trinity Recipe Book

As a fundraiser for our school, we are putting together a Recipe Book. This is a great way for all members of the family to get involved and everyone always loves a great country recipe book. So, we’d like you to email us your favourite recipes in a word document to fiona.bassingthwaigh@cg.catholic.edu.au - Anything from Slow cooker recipes, mains, desserts, cakes, slices, salads etc. Every recipe that comes to school will have the senders name in the book and will earn 10 house points. More information will be sent home in the coming weeks regarding sponsorship of pages, but it is envisaged that the cookbook will be ready before the end of the year just in time for Christmas.

Photos for Grandparents Liturgy

On Friday 21st August (Week 5), Year 5/6 will conduct a Grandparents Liturgy. Unfortunately, due to the restrictions imposed on schools, we cannot invite our Grandparents and families into the school for this Liturgy but we would like to film it and post it to our Trinity Facebook Page and our Trinity Youtube Channel for all to enjoy. We are seeking photos of Trinity Grandparents (preferably with their grandchildren) to include in a reflection. Please email photos to Miss Wade: donna.wade@cg.catholic.edu.au or send in a hard copy to your child’s classroom teacher by Monday 17 August. Any photo’s sent into school as a hard copy will be carefully scanned and returned to families.

Annual Satisfaction Survey

The annual satisfaction survey of parents, students and staff will be conducted on behalf of all Catholic schools in the Diocese this term. The surveys are designed to gather feedback from parents, staff and students about our school and will be used to inform school improvement. Responses are confidential and individuals can not be identified. The surveys will be launched via email on Friday 7 August 2020 using the email addresses supplied to the school. If you do not receive an email with a link to the survey, you can access and complete the survey at the following link: https://www.research.net/r/trinitycatholicprimaryparent2020

COVID-19

The pick-up and drop off arrangements which were put in place last term, still continue. Please park your car in front of the presbytery so the children can exit and walk to the gate. A teacher will be on duty at the front gate from 8:45 to 9:10 am as well as after school. We request that parents maintain social distancing practices at all times when coming to and from school. If in the event your child/children are late to school or being picked up early, you are still required to sign them in and out with social distancing practices in place at the front office.

Update for Families on COVID-19
Trinity Primary School and Catholic Education continue to take advice from health authorities in relation to COVID-19. The Catholic Education Office has a team that is actively monitoring the COVID-19 situation as it develops, paying particular attention to local hotspots and organising support for schools where required.

When to Stay Home from School

Please keep your child at home if they are showing any symptoms of sickness. Once your child is well again, they can return to school. If your child develops any symptoms such as a fever, cough, sore throat or shortness of breath:

  • Call your GP in the first instance. By calling your GP before arriving they can take appropriate infection control measures.
  • Call your school to let them know.
  • In the event of an emergency please dial 000.
