School Vege Garden & Chicken Coop

Our vege patch is definitely coming together - the seedlings we planted last term have grown during the holidays and are looking great! More seeds and plants will get planted over the coming weeks. Thank you to all the families who have brought in  milk containers - they have been put to good use. We welcome more for the new plants!

Our Chooks have arrived!! Thank you to the Cooper family for donating these. This week Mr Niddrie ran a naming competition, where the students got to nominate three names each. The winning names of the chooks will be revealed next week!!  The Niddrie family kindly donated the children coop, which was built by the students this week - looks fabulous!. We are very lucky to have the Corkhill family coming into school this weekend to install a very fancy Chicken run - a big thank you to Ash & Bernie! Our chooks (which are currently boarding at Mrs Davis' house) will be very spoilt once they move into their new home next week!

Communication

Communication to our parents and carers is always a priority. Please check our Schoolzine App for newsletters, upcoming events and announcements. Notes are always sent home for key events but don’t forget to check FaceBook for notifications or the newsletter which is emailed out to each family every Friday and can also be viewed on our website. The newsletter is also available via hard copy from the front office on request. Please ensure you make it a priority to read our amazing newsletter as it is informative and will help keep you updated with what is happening in the school and community.

Chocolate Fundraiser

We still have a few Cadbury fundraising boxes available at the front office for collection to sell. Thank you to all our families for the enthusiastic way that you are supporting this great initiative. Many of our families are onto their second and third box. If you have sold your box and would like to sell some more, please contact the front office.  

Saucy Spice Curries

There are a few curry sachets left over from our Saucy Spice Co fundraiser last year. We have a 'special deal' where you can pick any 3 varieties for $10. These make such great no fuss winter meals and perfect for the slow cooker! Available at the front office.
