From the Principal

Welcome to the Week 10 edition of the Trinitarian! We conclude the term with the school reports being sent home on Wednesday. It is wonderful to hear the fantastic feedback that the teachers have received from our parents as we strive to ensure that your children are challenged academically, socially, creatively and spiritually each and every day. Please take time out to rejuvenate over the school break, spend quality time with your family, sleep in, have pyjama days and enjoy not making school lunches! The children have worked relentlessly all term and it is very inspiring to observe the happy and well-mannered children who come to Trinity each day eager to learn and play, laugh and have fun! Thank you to all our amazing parents, for ensuring that the children arrive at school each day, prepared and ready for the day ahead. The time you spend at home each night listening to your child read and ensuring they complete homework enables the children to consolidate their learning at school and sets them up for further success. A special thank you to all our amazing staff who work tirelessly to ensure that all the children are motivated and challenged with their learning. We hope everyone enjoys the well-deserved break.

On Wednesday we had our annual Cross Country Carnival. We were blessed with beautiful weather but unfortunately, due to the restrictions around COVID 19, parents were unable to attend. We missed you all on the day, but the children had a fabulous time, and they all tried very hard. A very special thank you to Donna Wade for her wonderful organisation and to the staff for their assistance. A great day was had by all! Check out the photos at the back of the newsletter.

The Trinity Term 3 Calendar with all the planned events marked on the calendar across the term will go home in the first week of Term 3. We are looking forward to having the parents back at Trinity! The children especially love having you come to school events as do the staff! We have really missed you!

Trinity Open Day will be on Wednesday August 12 from 9:30 am to 11:50 am. So please spread the word. Information will be sent to Bunyip early next term.

Monday July 20 is the first day back for Term 3 and is a pupil free day. The staff will be having a spirituality day at Trinity. Please make arrangements for your children for babysitting for the day.

Have a safe holiday and stay warm!

God Bless,

Marylou Gorham
