From the Principal
Trinity will be conducting their Open Day on Wednesday June 24 from 9:30am to 11:50am. We welcome all preschoolers and their parents to come along and experience a range of KLA activities and a tour of our beautiful school. The preschool students will be provided with fruit for fruit break and at 11am will enjoy a barbecue lunch and drink before heading back to Bunyip. Parents are invited to morning tea with the Principal where they can engage in conversation about Trinity and meet current Kinder parents. If you know of any parents with preschool children please encourage them to come along and experience our wonderful school. If you happen to know of any parents who would like to send their children to Trinity, please ask them to contact the front office for information regarding tours and enrolment. Choosing a school is an important decision, and we know that our best ambassadors are our students, families and staff. There are wonderful teachers and fantastic learning happening here at Trinity and our 2019 NAPLAN results certainly reflect this.
We will be conducting our Cross Country Carnival on Wednesday, July 1. The carnival will be held at Trinity and staff will be running the events on the day as unfortunately no parents or carers will be allowed to attend due to COVID19 restrictions. It is anticipated that the Trinity Athletics Carnival will occur on Wednesday, August 19. Each carnival will follow the COVID-19 Guidelines from the Government for schools, sporting events and venues at the time of the event. This may result in reduced numbers and/or no spectators or parents being permitted at the event. The circumstances around carnivals are ever changing and we endeavour to keep you updated as changes occur. The safety and well-being of our students, staff and parents is a priority and we intend to keep within the guidelines that have been set by the Government at the time.
Road Safety: When you are drop off and/or pick up your child/ren please ensure you comply with the 40 km zone around the school and park in the allocated zones. Stopping on the road is not an option. Many times, staff have witnessed near misses with cars and students. For the safety of our children and parents, please comply with our road safety rules. This way we can keep everyone safe!
We hope you have had a wonderful long weekend and Sabbath Week, free of homework other than reading. What a wonderful opportunity to spend quality time with your children.
Stay well and stay safe!
God Bless,
Marylou Gorham
