Kinder - 3: 

This week Kinder, Year 1, 2 and 3 were given a task to create a sculpture out of clay in their Art lesson. The students loved getting their hands dirty while coming up with such creative sculptures. They are off to the kiln now and once they are back, they can admire their creation forever!

Year 2/3:

Year 2/3 have been transforming into Taxonomists during their Tuesday Science lessons. Last week they learnt how to use a branching key to classify animals and discovered exciting facts like, 'an octopus and a snail belong to the group called molluscs.' This week they collected leaf litter to study and explore, tallying up and graphing their findings. We found spiders, ants, slaters, taxi bugs and millipedes.

Stem Club:

Mr Niddrie's STEM Club was on again today during lunchtime. The students from 4-6 got to step into 'Astronaut Camp' and build their own rockets, made out of plastic bottles. Kinder-3 got to launch their beautifully decorated rockets made from last week - WOW, didn't they 'Blast Off'! There was lots of excitement in the playground today!
