Making Jesus Real – Patience

MJR.jpg

Patience is the ability to wait calmly for, or through, something.

Picture1.png

Patience is being able to control our own actions and endure situations without complaint.

Patience is understanding that everybody is important and we should wait our turn.

Patience is the ability to smile at the world, even when it seems it is conspiring against you.

Harmony Day

This week our students conducted Harmony day activities within their own classrooms. Children found out about people from other countries through art, sport, literature and maths. The message passed on to our students is that the spirit of tolerance and trust among people will be strengthened when we enhance harmony and understanding within the community and society.

Mass Online

In light of the developments with online learning and the regulations imposed on community gatherings, our Archdiocese have ‘Daily Mass’ available online. Please visit  https://www.catholicvoice.org.au/mass-online/ to connect.

A Message from Father Lolesio

Greetings to you all, in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Faith and hope in this time of trials. It is sad to see that we are no longer able to sit and share together because of this pandemic, but I believe strongly that this will not go on forever, as your faith and mine shows. Even though we are distanced for our protection our spirit is united. As we know, Mass is available online and lots of sources are available for our spiritual guidance day by day,

I ask you as a Parish please to continue to join together every day at 12 noon to pray the Our Father as our uniting prayer as a Parish, and at 6pm to pray the Parish Prayer.

If you need any assistance call or email me.

Prayer

Heavenly Father,
Please shine your light upon our families.
Give us strength to overcome all of the
difficulties that we are dealing with now
and protect us against any and all problems we may encounter in the future.
O Lord, please bring us together as we
are meant to be. May the love that binds
us only grow stronger as we fulfil the destiny you have laid out for us.

Bless us Lord,
In your name we pray, Amen
