Thank you to our wonderful staff: As a school community we are very fortunate to have a dedicated, innovative and nurturing staff who genuinely care for your children and go above and beyond to ensure that the are current with pedagogy and curriculum initiatives. Teachers assisted by the rapport they have with all our students, know what each student can do and target teaching according to point of need, to allow for more than 12 months growth in all Key Learning Areas, especially numeracy and literacy. This has resulted in huge academic gains, evidenced in NAPLAN and assessments of our students and we are extremely proud of this.

Once again, we have tried to provide as many opportunities as possible for the students to grow, spiritually, intellectually, emotionally and physically. There have been sporting events ranging from swimming, athletics, cross country, soccer, rugby league, rugby union, basketball, netball and touch football. These together with the Public Speaking competition, school choir, STEM Club, lunch time Clubs, Catholic Schools Week, yoga, Book Week, Book Fairs, Disco, Liturgies and Masses have seen our students excel in many different fields. All of these are possible because staff are willing to give up their time to help our students to grow, develop and be successful.

Farewell: Sadly, we farewell to some of our staff this year. Carmel Babos-our amazing School Chaplain. Carmel has bought to the role her many gifts and talents and happily shares them. Carmel is not only a supportive influence to all of our students, she is extremely supportive of all our staff and our parents. Carmel has been in this role at Trinity for 11 years!

We also say thank you but not goodbye to Amy O’Brien and Skye Regan. Amy and Skye worked in all of our learning spaces. We look forward to them returning next year as a relief teacher.

Thank you to our beautiful students and parents: It is hard to believe that another year is coming to an end. The Year 6 children have been wonderful leaders for Trinity and we wish the graduating class of 2019 all the best at High School. Where would be without our children! We are so very blessed to have such beautiful children who are extremely capable, talented, well-mannered and always work hard to give their best. They are supported by a wonderful parent community. Every parent at our school makes a contribution and firstly I would like to acknowledge and thank each parent for whatever you have been able to do this year. A particular group of parents, the Trinity Community Council deserve special recognition for the commitment they have made, the support and advice they offer to myself and to the staff, their presence at many school functions, and for their vision of Trinity into the future. A special thank you to Brenden McKay who was a member of the Community Council for 5 years and stepped out of his position in term 1, Charlie Lucas Council Chair, Mark Sumich Treasurer and Secretary, Amy Mergard Events organiser, Leanne Davis Bursar, Donna Wade staff representative and Fathers Joshy and Lolesio, parish Priests. This year with your assistance, the Community Council have provided financial support which has allowed us as a school to offer a wide range of learning experiences, school events and improved playground facilities for our students and staff.

Canteen Closed: There will be no school canteen next Wednesday. Please do not send lunch orders to school!
