Year 6 Graduation
Friday night was a beautiful celebration of our Graduating Year 6 students. Thank you to Father Loleiso for celebrating the Eucharist with us, we are blessed to have such an engaging Parish Priest.
Many thanks to Donna Wade for her contribution to the preparation of the evening, we are very grateful. To the Lenehan, Metcalfe, and Olotu families who are leaving the Trinity community this year, we wish you well as you join new school communities.
Community Christmas Carols
Thank you to everyone who came to the Community Christmas Carols last night. It was such a beautiful night, listening to the carols and watching little people get excited about the festive season, especially when the man in red showed up!
I would like to thank Ali Betts, Carlie Oates, and Donna Wade for organizing such a wonderful event for our community to enjoy. Thank you to Mayor Margaret Roles for opening the night, the talented performers, Dave Moorby and Ken McKay for sound, Doug Bates and Jayson Smith for transporting Santa, Don Smith for the stage, Dave Menz for spraying the grounds for mozzies before the event, Trinity parents, staff, and student helpers, and our entertaining MC, Maryanne Fitzgerald. The night would not happen without the financial support of Hilltops Council, for which we are very grateful.

The year that was...
Professionally 2022 has been a successful year for Trinity, with all students achieving success. The relationships, friendships, and collaboration that cements our community is a credit to each of you. Thank you for your commitment to Trinity.
Personally, 2022 has also been successful with our son Jordan making the decision to move to Melbourne. Although this will be a challenge for me, I am looking forward to many trips to Melbourne next year. My husband Ben, continues to establish himself as a successful artist and I am blessed to have these two loving people in my life.
Thank you for 2022, there have been many blessings and much happiness. Enjoy the festive season and I look forward to seeing you all in 2023. Please click here to view the invitation to our Parent Information Evening on Friday 3 February.
God bless,

Advent - Week Three - JOY
In the third week of Advent, we light the candle of JOY. This candle is also known as the 'Shepherd's Candle'. It is pink in colour because rose is the liturgical colour for joy.
Prayer for Joy
Lord, we pray we may be filled with the joy of the Lord this Christmas. Your joy is unlike anything this world has to offer. It brings peace, trust, and hope to our world.
Mini Vinnies Christmas Appeal
This week we send our Christmas Giving Hampers to our local St. Vincent De Paul office. We are so very grateful for the many items families donated for this incredibly important initiative. We are so proud of our Year 6 Mini Vinnies team leading this initiative.
Thanks
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all staff, students, parents, and the wider community for your support of Trinity in 2022. This year has been full of exciting events in which everybody has been collectively involved in many capacities. We are truly grateful for our Trinity community and look forward to an equally successful year in 2023.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays
May the peace of the Lord be with each family this Christmas.
May the holiday season fill your home with joy, your heart with love, and your life with laughter. I wish everyone a happy and safe Christmas with family and friends.

Farewell to our Year 6 Students
Last Friday we celebrated our Year 6 Graduation Mass at St. Mary’s church, followed by a supper prepared and served by Year 5 parents. Special thanks to Mrs. Fiona Bassingthwaighte for coordinating this.
The theme for the mass was 'Journey to New Horizons' with the motto "The end of one journey is the beginning of the next." At Trinity, we feel blessed to have been part of each student's journey. Our Trinity family has watched these children grow from tiny beginnings into the strong, confident, and capable young adults they are today. It is now time for them to journey to discover new horizons.
It was a wonderful night and we wish Aidan, Bella, Bea, Billy, Charlie, Dara, Grace, Melanie, Michael, Ryan, Thomas, and Zoe all the very best in their next chapter in life. We pray they may take away with them fond memories of shared experiences Trinity has given them and the bond of true friendships that will last forever. We are so incredibly proud of them and their achievements!

This year all students from K-6 have been given a Home Reading Log where they are to record their reading each night.
It has been great to see the number of ‘Reading Nights’ children have recorded in their home reading log.
Once children reach a reading goal of nights they are rewarded with a sticker for their book from Mrs Perryman.
Keep up the great reading!!
