Trinity All Stars
Last term, a parent alerted us to an art competition that The Design Files were running. They were inviting students up to the age of 16 to submit an artwork that responded to the theme of ‘Australia’ and 100% of entry fees were to be donated directly to Children’s Ground, an organisation that supports the next generation of Aboriginal children, and their communities. K/1/2 and 5/6 had completed some incredible artworks that fitted in with the theme so outstanding artworks were judged and chosen to be submitted to the competition.
Lana Sumich and Ivy Corkhill’s colourful Pete Cromer inspired artworks were chosen from Infants and Jemima Mergard, Angus Oldfield and Ryan Sumich’s skilful portraits of former Prime Ministers were also judged to be worthy of submission from the Primary end. We celebrate these talented artists and look forward to sharing with you results of the competition. Well done and look out for Operation Art, another art competition that Trinity will be participating in later in the year to recognise the many talented artist we have in our school.
